The Firehouse Theatre on Equality Park Place in Newport was abuzz on Saturday, March 29, after the cast of "Two Celtic Comedies & a Ditty" performed to a packed (albeit small) house. Immediately after the cast took their bows and exited, the Bit Players took over.

Although the radio station might seem new to most students it has actually been around for many years. WSRU was first officially recognized as a student organization by Salve Regina University in 1998, but the studio was only completed in the newly renovated garden level of Wakehurst in 2000.

Pushing his blonde, shaggy hair out of his eyes, Andrew McMahon, 25, perfectly tuned his instrument. Piano rock, as many of his fans have dubbed his style, is what Jack's Mannequin is all about. Six hours before his performance, on the stage constructed by students earlier that morning, McMahon sound checked the keys of his piano.
